While responding to a “breaking and entering in progress” call, Officer Randall lost control of his police cruiser while rounding a curve and crashed head-on into a stone wall. Writes Dr. Richard Brown, “the major injury (Randall) sustained was multiple rib fractures on the right side without underlying lung injury…I would say without reservation that (the Second Chance® vest) played a role in preventing more serious injury.”
