Officer Krawiec was traveling at about 45-50 MPH when he hit some icy slush on the road. The patrol car went out of control striking a tree head-on. Krawiec was wearing his Second Chance® armor, which absorbed the impact from the steering column, resulting in few injuries, and none were life-threatening.
