Wildlife Officer Reda was patrolling a preserve area when he heard several shots. As he exited his vehicle he walked toward a pond in the direction of the gunfire. Concealed by brush, he observed two men target practicing with a shotgun. Just as he was about to step from the brush the shooter turned and fired in Reda’s direction. The blast of pellets struck Reda in his chest protected by Second Chance® soft body armor.
