Officer Adams was assisting at an accident, directing traffic around the scene, when an inattentive motorist struck him at a 30 MPH clip. The impact propelled him over the car hood flipping him over and landing on his back at the edge of the road. Dr. Braden, attending physician, stated, “there is no question in my mind that the (Second Chance®) bulletproof vest played a very protective role during this accident.”
