Officer Kilcullen was transporting two other officers from their posts to the SUNY uptown station when an oncoming car was pushed from behind by a third vehicle into the path of Kilcullen’s car. Kilcullen’s Second Chance® vest covered chest bent the steering wheel. Dr. Innes” opinion was “that the officer was spared severe internal chest and abdominal injuries by his Second Chance® vest.”
