Officer Davis was on her way answering to a theft-in-progress call at the far end of her beat. with lights and siren on, she was maneuvering through heavy traffic on rain slick streets when she entered an intersection and collided with a truck. Davis was thrown against her steering wheel bending it up into the dashboard. Her Second Chance® armor took the brunt of the impact. Hospital personnel credit the armor with keeping Davis from suffering internal injuries and perhaps even a few broken bones.
