Physician Thomas Witkowski detailed what happened to Foltz’s body when another vehicle broadsided him. Foltz, not wearing a seatbelt, struck the steering wheel as he spun around inside his vehicle on impact. His chest was protected by his Second Chance® armor and kept him from receiving further upper chest injury.
