Officer Chuchran and another officer were transporting a prisoner to a local hospital when they were struck by another car exiting a restaurant driveway onto the main thoroughfare at a high rate of speed. ER doctor Dixit administered the necessary antibiotics and stitches to close laceration Chuchran received, but Chuchran, wearing his Second Chance® armor, received no thoraxal trauma.
