While in pursuit of felons, Officer Amador’s police unit went out of control and flipped over three times. Amador escaped with a dislocated shoulder, abrasions of the head and a lacerated leg. Amador’s attending physician concluded that Amador would have lost his life if he had not been wearing his Second Chance® vest.
