Officer Brooks wondered what would happen if he were ever shot in his Second Chance® vest. He found out while holstering his own weapon, it accidentally discharged, lodging a .357 slug in the lower right edge of his vest. Although his superiors frowned upon this incident, Second Chance’s® Richard Davis found someone else who goes around shooting himself. Only Davis doesn’t do it with a surprised look on his face.
