Officer Gregg was shot three times while assisting the FBI in apprehending a fugitive from Ohio on 20 Sept 95. The Second Chance® SUPERfeatherlite IIA armor contained two of the three rounds of 9mm Black Talon, the third round passed between the front and back panels of his armor causing extensive chest injury. Gregg was able to return fire striking his assailant 4 times out of 5 shots fired. Gregg returned to work sporting his new Monarch armor eight months after his ordeal.
