While Jones was dispensing chipped ice to celled inmates, one of the cell dwellers grabbed Jones by the shoulder and pulled him to the bars and stabbed Jones with an object that had a cloth handle “approximately 2-inches at the handle and sharpened to a point.” The prison-made shank was stopped in Jones” PRISM armor. The impact caused a bruising on the chest wall where the shank was stopped by the Second Chance® armor.
