Deputy Perry and his partner responded to a silent alarm. On arrival at the scene they interrupted a burglary in progress. One subject fled out the back door with Perry’s partner giving chase. Perry went out the front door, going around the back when he heard shots fired. As Perry took a defensive position he felt a projectile striking his Second Chance® Comfort Lite IIA and K30 plate. A .357 magnum slug was found inside the vest carrier. Perry’s partner hit the shooter twice in the stomach while the second suspect escaped into the nearby woods.
We welcome Deputy Troy Perry, SAVE #681, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
