Clark was called to assist members of the uniform patrol division in trying to talk a person out of committing suicide. The subject was armed with a .32 revolver. Negotiations went sour and as the subject brought the weapon up to his head, Clark sprayed him with “OC” in an attempt to make him drop his weapon. Clark heard the weapon discharge and as he moved to get out of the way, he felt something hit his chest. The bullet apparently exited the victim’s head and struck Clark in the chest making a small hole in his jacket covering his Second Chance® armor. The .32 slug dropped to the floor next to where Clark was standing. (See Save No. 152)
