Deputy Steve Wilson was driving his police until when another vehicle swerved into his lane and hit him head-on. Wilson’s body was forced into the steering column. The force drove the column up and into the dashboard. Wearing his Second Chance® vest prevented serious, and possibly fatal injuries to Wilson.
