Allis was one of two officers dispatched to a disturbance call at a local cafe. On attempting to remove parties involved, a hostile crowd tried to stop the lawmen. An altercation erupted resulting in three arrests. Off duty officer noticed a four-inch slice across Allis’ uniform shirt, cutting through the shirt, the carrier of his concealed Second Chance® Monarch ll and into several layers of the aramid material layers of the armor.
