Officer Greg Ford was injured during a forced cell move at the Sheridan Correctional Center Tactical School. Duribng the extraction activity, Ford was thrown into an object in the cell striking the back of his neck. His Second Chance® Tactical Vest, a YII-A, had to be cut away to brace his neck for possible fracture. At the ER, Ford was told his neck was not broken because the stand-up collar on his vest took the blunt of the impact.
