A meeting between Patrolman Ted Larson and an oncoming train ended with no major injury due to his Second Chance® vest. While responding to an emergency call, Larson hit the lead engine of a freight train. Fortunately, he did not sustain any chest injuries, and credits his vest with helping him make it through the accident alive.
