Officer Smith was wearing his Ultima II and was riding his Harley in response to a structure fire call when he and his bike went into a 111″ skid. Smith struck a utility pole with his back while his bike slid another 70″. Officer Smith’s ER doctor stated that Smith’s Second Chance® armor saved him from a ruptured spleen and broken back.
