Officer Deas and another officer responded in two separate units to a call of a disturbance at a local motel. After a brief encounter, the subject was told he was being placed under arrest. In the process of being handcuffed, he pulled out a knife stabbing Deas in his chest covered by his Second Chance® Monarch II armor.
