Two weeks after Officer Cooper graduated from the police academy he purchased his Second Chance® vest. Two weeks later the same vest saved his life. A silent alarm run turned into a flash and bang with the pellets from a sawed-off 12ga. striking Cooper in the upper left chest area. After being hit, Cooper drew his revolver and returned fire simultaneously with another charge from the assailant’s shotgun. Cooper connected with his shot as the pellets from his assailant’s gun whizzed by him. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
