Corporal Adams was involved in a traffic accident involving his squad car and an ambulance. He was driving the squad car and was hit on the driver’s side by an ambulance going 55-60mph. The impact rendered him unconscious and as a result he received a fractured pelvis. According to his doctor, he was “amazed by the fact that he did not sustain any thoracic trauma in the accident.” He believes that the only reason Corporal Adams survived the accident was due to the Second Chance® Body Armor he was wearing.
