While Responding to back-up a fellow officer, Deputy Reese was forced off the roadway by an oncoming vehicle that crossed the centerline, into Deputy Reese’s lane of travel. To avoid a head-on collision, he swerved onto the shoulder, lost control and eventually crossed the roadway again, into the ditch where his vehicle rolled and came to a rest on its top. Deputy Reese was transported to the hospital where he was treated and released. His doctor was adamant that had it not been for the ballistic vest Deputy Reese was wearing protecting his upper torso, and the roll bar construction of the vehicle, his injuries could have been life threatening if not fatal.
We welcome Deputy Daniel Reese, SAVE #854, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
