Constable Hagarty was on duty in a marked police vehicle. He was in the passenger seat and his partner was driving. They were stopped at a stop sign and an impaired driver traveling at approximately 40-50 MPH struck his vehicle from behind. Hagarty was pinned into the vehicle and had to be extracted. He sustained neck, back and jaw injuries. According to the attending physician, Hagarty would have likely suffered much more severe injuries had he not been wearing his body armor.
We welcome Constable Scott Hagarty, SAVE #859, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
