Officer Rizzuti was walking across a street to get a newspaper, but did not make it as he was struck by a car. He hit the grill and was thrown onto the car hood and landed on the road breaking his right leg and left arm. The Paramedic that treated him stated that “he was lucky that he had his Second Chance® armor on.”
