Trooper Doug Carmichael was conducting a traffic stop when he was struck from behind. Carmichael was inside his car at the time of the accident. Carmichael was taken to the hospital, treated and released. According to the attending physician, Carmichael’s Second Chance vest ®”helped him immensely as he hit the steering wheel.”
