Deputy Christensen was on routine patrol when he spotted a man that was wanted by police. He approached the suspect and whet about patting him down, the suspect bolted and an exchange of fire resulted in Christensen being shot twice on his Second Chance® armor. Christensen was able to return fire to the suspect who suffered fatal injuries.
