Randy Pierce’s five-year-old daughter reminded her daddy to wear his vest on a day he was not going to wear it and he was so glad she did. On that same day he was shot four times with a .45 from a distance of 10 feet while trying to take a man into custody for a mental evaluation. Two of the shots were held by his Second Chance® Armor and the other two hit him on his arms. The suspect was eventually taken into custody.
