Model Y vest saved Trooper Cueto from death or serious injury when he was sitting in his parked cruiser and was hit head on by a drunk driver going close to 100 mph. Cueto’s armor absorbed the impact of the steering wheel. The impact was so severe that the steering wheel was broken. Cueto was treated and released and the attending physician stated that Cueto’s armor saved his life.
