Public Safety Officer Randall Anglin was in his police vehicle and on route to a domestic violence call when he was struck by a drunk driver. The driver of the other vehicle died on the scene and Officer Anglin sustained serious traumatic head injuries. According to his trauma surgeon, his Second Chance® Body Armor prevented or lessened injuries to his vital organs.Lt. Debra Howard, Anglin’s commanding officer, stated “I am an advocate of body armor and encourage officers to wear body armor every day. This collision reinforces my belief that body armor saves lives.”
