Officer Coscia was responding to a violent domestic dispute. After numerous times trying to calm the suspect, a struggle ensued. The suspect was able to get Coscia’s gun out of his holsterand shot at Coscia two times. The first shot missed and the second shot hit Coscia directly on his Second Chance® armor.The armor held the bullet, and Coscia experienced bruising on the top right hand side.
