Got out of the car to stop 2 guys on speeding. Asked for ID and held to your chest and shot – .40 cal.Bullet went through carrier burrowed a hole.Officer Korman was alone on patrol in vehicle after midnight…in a known prostitution area. Saw couple guys sitting on construction pipes. Approached them and asked them what they were doing… one pulled out a .40 cal handgun and shot him on the lower left side of abdomen.
