Deputy Jeff Mooney and Deputy Keith Graves were investigating a REDDI report North on Highway 1416. Deputies contacted the vehicle and driver. An altercation ensued. Deputies struggled with the suspect and the vehicle became mobile dragging both Deputies. Mooney was able to get free of while Graves was drug approx. 300 yards. Deputy Graves freed himself from the vehicle and remained injured in pasture. A vehicle chase ensued and soon turned to a foot pursuit. Eventually the suspect was arrested and Graves injuries were much less threatening thanks to his Second Chance® armor.
