Officer Moll was called to investigate a car fire. Moll noticed bike tracks leading from the fire to a house nearby. He and his partner knocked on door and asked to talk to boys that lived there. The woman who answered the door was the suspect’s mother and she was not cooperating. They walked in the house and opened a bedroom door. The shooter emerged and shot Moll 4 times with an AK47. Moll was hit once in mid section once in lower section on his vest – the bullets went in front and exited out the back. He was also shot on his left thigh and through his Duty Belt. Somehow, Moll was able to get back up and wrestle down the shooter. A complimentary Second Chance® vest was issued.
We welcome Officer Patrick Moll, SAVE #976, to The Safariland Group SAVES CLUB®.
