Officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex with the victim down in the parking lot. Suspect was actively shooting when officers arrived. Officer Ledbetter and others entered an apartment through a rear window which had to be broken out. Entry was gained to the apartment so that the victim could be rescued and receive treatment. Glass from the window cut Officer Ledbetter’s coat, shirt, carrier but did not penetrate her Monarch vest.
