Officer Andrew Taylor of LAPD was shot during an exchange of gun fire that left the triggerman dead after police returned fire. One bullet pierced Taylor’s armpit. went into his chest and out his back. The other ricocheted off his bullet proof vest, the impact only bruised his chest wall.
