GLOCK, Inc. has announced the latest addition to its 5th Generation lineup with the introduction of the G17L Gen5 MOS, chambered in 9mm.
According to Josh Dorsey, Vice President at GLOCK, Inc., “As Perfection Continues at GLOCK, we are continually developing new technologies and expanding our product offerings. We are excited to bring you these new additions to the Gen5 line of pistols.”
G17L Gen5 MOS Features
This high-performance pistol features a long barrel, a well-balanced slide, an extended sight radius, and a slightly lighter trigger pull, making it ideal for competition and reliable precision shooting. The G17L Gen5 incorporates MOS (Modular Optic System) technology, allowing for the effortless mounting of optics to facilitate faster target acquisition.
The pistol also integrates all the enhancements of the 5th Generation design, including the GLOCK Marksman Barrel (GMB) and the removal of finger grooves for a more personalized grip. Additionally, it features an ambidextrous slide stop lever and a reversible magazine catch, catering to both right and left-handed users.
Gen5 GLOCK pistols are built with the Safe Action System, which comprises three independently operating mechanical safeties that disengage sequentially as the trigger is pulled and re-engage automatically upon release. This ensures maximum performance and reliability without compromising safety.
