Jacob Grey specialized as an OEM maker of aerospace industry components before finding a passion in the 1911 platform and branching out to other designs. The latest in the Jacob Grey Catalog is the TWC Hex.

As with all Jacob Grey double-stack 1911s, the TWC Hex is engineered and hand fit in house. The Hex represents a commander-sized handgun that can be set up for either competition or everyday carry. The key aesthetic difference between the TWC Hex and other handguns in the TWC lineup is the Hex features a hexagonal pattern along the aluminum grip module. The frame features an enlarged magazine well and a light rail.
The Hex also comes from the factory ported, with two linear ports through the 4.25-inch bull barrel and slide. The slide is finished in a black nitride and uses fish-scale cocking serrations both at the rear and the front. The slide wears a pair of high-profile tritium iron sights and a footprint for mounting a red dot optic.

The Jacob Grey TWC Hex features an enlarged pinned beavertail and grip safety, an ambidextrous thumb safety, and a magazine release and slide release mounted on the left side of the pistol. The barrel is available with either a black nitride or rose gold TiN finish. The frame and grip module are available in a Midnight black hard anodized coating as well as a choice of Hex Duty Green or Hex Battle Brown.
The TWC Hex ships with 17-round flush-fitting magazines but is also available with California-legal 10-round magazines. MSRP on the new Jacob Grey TWC Hex is $3,499.99
