Daniel Defense, a manufacturer of high-quality, duty-rated ARs, also produces suppressors—something many might not realize. Daniel Defense and KGM Suppressors collaborated to develop the latest version — the SoundGuard. That’s a good thing—KGM, one of the largest OEM suppressor manufacturers, brings extensive experience and innovation to Daniel Defense.
Current models include the SG-556, SG-30, and SG-30 Ti. I own the SG-556 and SG-30Ti and think highly of them. Their features and prices offer great value. The newest model, the SG-6Ti, fills a unique spot in the market and offers excellent versatility.

FEATURES
The Daniel SoundGuard SG-6Ti suppressor is a purposeful evolution of the SoundGuard series, designed to be lighter, offer smarter gas management, and provide tunable high-flow performance for modern gas guns.
The SG-6Ti is built specifically for AR-15s with barrels over 14.5 inches and is optimized for 5.56 NATO, .223 Rem, 6 ARC, and cartridges up to 6mm Creedmoor. The SG-6Ti directs gas forward to minimize impulse and greatly reduce blowback at the shooter’s face. Inside, advanced internal geometry, combined with a patent-pending baffle stack, stabilizes the projectile as it exits, while a proprietary internal coating reduces flash signature to nearly zero.
The high-flow, tunable port design lets shooters fine-tune performance across various gas systems, keeping accuracy with minimal point-of-impact shift and controlling over-gassing without adding unnecessary weight.
Made from a titanium tube and a titanium baffle stack, the suppressor remains lightweight yet durable. It features a direct-thread mount, uses the HUB standard footprint, and is manufactured in the U.S.A., backed by Daniel Defense’s 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
ZOOMING OUT
The new SG-6Ti is not a hard-use can, but rather a precision can for modern AR platforms. This design aims to enhance the performance of ARs using newer 6mm cartridges. I’ve been pleased with the current SoundGuard suppressors I own. And I expect this one to be just as good, if not better, in its purpose.
