C&H Precision (CHPWS), an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of precision optics, optics adapter plates, and pistol slide milling upgrades, is pleased to announce the appointment of GW Ayers as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. That’s Ayers above to the right shaking hands with C&H Precision founder Buck Holly.
That is, as some say, a “good get.” We can say that, here at the Cadre Dispatch, nearly all of us know and respect the man both personally and professionally.
In his new role, Ayers will lead the company’s strategic sales initiatives and marketing efforts, leveraging his extensive background in the defense and firearms industries to drive growth and expand market reach.
Ayers, a native of rural Virginia, served 22 years in the U.S. Army before transitioning to the defense industry, where he worked for a leading tactical gear manufacturer. He later moved into the firearms sector, ultimately founding and operating several high-end retail stores and shooting ranges. There are several reasons Tactical Tailor, Grey Ghost Gear, Grey Ghost Precision, and later Rainier Arms Firearms Academy did so well during his tenure at each — Ayers is one of the biggest of those.

Did we mention that he also serves as the CEO of a 501(C)(3) charity dedicated to assisting homeless veterans?
Suffice it to say his deep industry experience, passion for customer service, empathy, and leadership experience make him a valuable addition to the C&H Precision team.
