Every year, Holosun releases a slew of new and exciting products at SHOT Show. As a company, they are unafraid to push the boundaries of optical capabilities, particularly in red dots and electro-optics. The latest product is in line with that ethos with the all-new 507-PROMAX.
SPECS
The 507-PROMAX builds on the success of the 507 line of micro red dot sights, which includes models such as the 507C and 507 COMP. The PROMAX appears to take the concept of the 507 COMP and put it on steroids. The standard specs (of what I could find) are as follows:
- Model(s): 507-PROMAX

- Footprint: RMR
- Reticle: Performance Reticle System. 2 MOA Center, with options for 8, 20, and 32 MOA circles.

- Window Size: 0.91 × 0.67-inch
- Weight: 1.55 oz.
- Battery Type: CR1632
- Battery Run Time: 50,000 hours

FEATURES
The 507-PROMAX feels like Holosun listened to the feedback of competitive shooters and created an optic that supports them rather than forcing compromises.
Its main feature is the Performance Reticle System, which smartly allows the reticle to adapt to the shooter and the situation—whether that’s a precise 2 MOA dot, a bold outer ring to catch your eye on the draw, or layered references to help with partials, steel targets, and tricky positions without visual clutter. This flexibility is crucial when every presentation, transition, and recoil cycle matters.
It’s supported by a noticeably larger window, framed by a forward-leaning sunshade that keeps the reticle crisp as lighting conditions change mid-run. The 7075-T6 housing is durable yet lightweight, while the RMR footprint fits many existing slides.
Features like Shake Awake and reticle memory ensure the sight wakes up where the shooter left it and is ready to go when the buzzer sounds. It’s an optic built to stay out of your way—and improve your scores.
Zooming Out
The 507-PROMAX serves as the competition-focused counterpart to the company’s evolving EVO and DUAL rifle and pistol platforms, both of which are new for 2026. Holosun isn’t afraid to try new things and push boundaries. They took feedback from competitors and built an optic that works for them. More information will be available after SHOT Show.
