Rost Martin is a new American-made firearms manufacturing company headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Their premier offering is the RM1C, a 9mm striker-fired, polymer-framed compact pistol with an impressive capacity of 15+1 rounds with the flush magazine, or 17+1 with the extended mag.
The RM1C is a great size for concealed carry with a 4-inch barrel. The overall length is 7.1 inches and the height is 5 inches with the 15-round magazine inserted in the magwell. The grip is 1.1 inches wide and the gun weighs 21.1 ounces with the 15-round mag.

Rost Martin RM1C Features
The slide has aggressive front and rear slide serrations for positive traction when manipulating the slide. The top slide serrations are also non-glare, to combat eye fatigue and allow for better sight picture clarity. The mag release is ambidextrous, and for ultra-durability, the slide is Tenifer treated to combat corrosion and fight against the wear and tear of varying weather conditions.
The gun is designed with a low-bore axis, which helps with muzzle control as the recoil is directed rearward into the hand, instead of up and back.
The RM1C comes optic-ready with a metal RMR plate. Additional metal plates for popular red dot sights will be available on the Rost Martin website. With the full three-slot Picatinny rail, the gun accepts popular pistol lights.
As for the grip, the RM1C features the signature Rost Martin Responsive Grip Texturing or RGT. This is a proprietary graduated laser stippling designed to respond, or “grip back,” to the amount of grip presser exerted by the user for a secure, comfortable fit.
The RM1C is engineered and built for longstanding durability and reliability, backed by the Rost Martin lifetime warranty. “Our preproduction stress test and validation included testing the limits of our pistol up to 50,000 rounds, submersion in sand, water, ice, mud, and extensive drop testing without failure,” explains Rost Martin CEO Chris Toomer.
