Rossi USA’s new Triple Black Pistol takes the proven design of the R95 platform and makes it more compact and shootable. Available in calibers from .357 Magnum to .45-70 Gov’t, the R95 Triple Black Pistol combines powerful performance with a compact, maneuverable design.
The Triple Black Pistol lineup is the latest in Rossi’s family of R95 lever actions and is available with a shorter frame in .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, and .454 Casull or a large frame model in .45-70.
All models feature a black synthetic pommel grip that evenly distributes recoil compared to straight pistol grip alternatives. The grip has an integral sling point that can be used with a single-point sling or in conjunction with the integral point mounted on the synthetic forestock.
The heart of the Triple Black pistol is a forged steel receiver and enlarged lever loop, both of which are finished in a deep black cerakote. The receiver has the same side-mounted ejection port, loading gate, and crossbolt safety as seen on other R95 models. On top is a section of Picatinny rail for mounting an optic. The rail also includes a small integral peep sight to match with the front post down the 13.25 inch barrel. The barrel is finished in the same cerakote and threaded to accept a suppressor or muzzle brake.
