FEATURES

The Wilson Combat eXperior Elite Commander Double Stack combines classic 1911 looks with modern capacity and carry-ready performance.

Built around a 4.25-inch match-grade stainless fluted bull barrel and Tri-Top slide, the pistol is engineered for precision. It features a flush-cut reverse crown and a dual locking lug design that contribute to Wilson Combat’s 1.5-inch accuracy guarantee at 25 yards.

The platform features a modern, high-capacity aluminum frame with an integrated light rail and magwell, providing durability and practicality in a compact Commander-size design. The TRAK-textured frontstrap and backstrap surfaces work together with removable G10 Starburst grips to ensure a secure grip in tough conditions.

Internally, the pistol features Wilson Combat’s Bullet Proof components, including an ambidextrous thumb safety, magazine release, and concealment hammer, along with a crisp 3.5–4.5 lb trigger. The slide also has the adjustable Pin Mounting Platform for direct optics mounting, while the double-stack magazine provides an 18-round capacity.

ZOOMING OUT

Overall, this is a carefully designed take on the high-capacity 1911. The eXperior Elite Commander delivers all the refinement and features you’d expect from a custom gunmaker. And with a price tag of $3,999, you should expect nothing less. With a pedigree like Wilson Combat, you know it will be excellent.
