Staccato 2011 handguns have found favor with law enforcement and the shooting public thanks to their thoughtful ergonomics and features for shooters who want and need to shoot fast and accurately. But some Staccato models have been offered for LEO sales only, the C2 Full Size Grip model among them.
That is, until now. The C2 Full Size is now available in limited numbers.
Features
The C2 has long been the bulwark of Staccato’s line of compact 9mm 2011 pistols. It features a 3.9-inch stainless steel bull barrel, a stainless steel slide with forward and rearward cocking serrations, and a black anodized aluminum frame.
The slide carries a fiber optic front sight and a rear u-notch, both of which are high enough to clear a suppressor and co-witness with an optic, as the C2 comes cut for a red dot optic. The C2 comes with a mounting kit for the optic of your choice, ranging from the Leupold Deltapoint Pro to the Holosun 507/509 series.
The pistol wears an integral light rail for a weapon light and comes with the classic appointments of an ambidextrous 1911/2011: ambidextrous safety, reversable magazine release, an enlarged grip safety, and an adjustable single-action trigger.
A Crossover Model
The new-to-market C2 Full Size Grip is a crossover model that uses the C2’s 3.9-inch barrel, except it is DLC coated rather than left in a polished stainless finish. It also keeps the same compact slide as the original C2 but pairs it with a full-sized Tac Texture grip. This model boasts a longer grip to allow more digits on the gun and more surface area for recoil to be tamed.
You also get a few more rounds in the magazine. Instead of the 16-round base magazine available for the original C2, the Full Size Grip model ships with 17-round flush-fitting magazines. The Full Size also fears an anodized aluminum Dawson Precision Tactical Advantage mag well for faster, look-free reloads.
The new Staccato C2 Full Size Grip offers all the control of a full-sized handgun while its shorter slide makes it easier to hide while carrying OWB and more comfortable IWB.
Previously a law enforcement exclusive, the C2 Full Size Grip is only available in a limited run and has an MSRP of $2,499.
