At SHOT Show 2025, Staccato stole the show with the introduction of the HD model. Unlike its predecessors, which used 2011-style magazines, the HD is compatible with Glock magazines.
Yes, you read that correctly. A Staccato 2011 takes Glock mags. Unveiled in two configurations, the HD P4 and P4.5 feature 4″ and 4.5″ barrel lengths, respectively. Fine for duty work, but might not be the best choice for concealed carry. That’s where the latest model comes in: the HD C3.6.

SPECS
The new C3.6, like its larger counterparts, accepts Glock magazines. However, to maintain its concealed carry profile, the C3.6 uses Glock 19-style 15-round magazines (for a flush fit) rather than Glock 17 mags. Other important specs are as follows:
- Models: HD C3.6
- Caliber: 9mm Luger
- Capacity: 15+1
- Barrel Length: 3.6 inches
- Overall Length: 7.1 inches
- Width at Grip: 1.2 inches
- Height: 4.9 inches
- Weight: 24 ounces without magazine inserted

FEATURES
The C3.6, designed as a carry gun, is built slightly differently than its larger siblings. First, the pistol features a precision-engineered aluminum-alloy frame. This helps Staccato engineers reduce the pistol’s weight without sacrificing durability or ease of shooting.
Second, the Staccato HD Compact Grip is tailored for carry, including a comfortable side texture to reduce hot spots when worn inside the waistband and aggressively textured front and back straps for better control. To ensure reliability, the C3.6 comes with two steel Glock 19 magazines made by Mec-Gar.
For both right- and left-handed shooters, this pistol features dual-sided safety and slide-stop levers, mirrored thumb and index points, and a reversible magazine catch. These fully mirrored controls and ergonomic design enable the shooter to operate the firearm comfortably with either hand.
And what is a modern carry pistol without an optic cut? The new and improved HOST optic mounting system allows the industry’s most popular optics to attach directly to the slide using Staccato spacer plates. This feature enables the HOST to support larger, longer optic screws for a more secure fit on the gun.
And, after mounting optics on dozens of Staccato pistols, this system is far and away superior. (Not because I owned them! They were customer pistols. I am only a mere recovering gun-counter employee and aspiring writer. I am in a much lower tax bracket.)

Every HD series pistol features an active firing pin block for enhanced safety in demanding situations. Staccato collaborates with law enforcement and military forces nationwide, where safety and reliability are crucial. To clarify, the active firing pin block is a safety feature that mechanically prevents the firing pin from striking the primer unless the trigger is pulled.

Zooming Out
All these features combine to create a seemingly excellent concealed-carry pistol. However, greatness comes with a price. The Standard package costs $2299; the Preferred package costs $2499; and the Premium package costs $2799. The differences around these packages are largely cosmetic—with different barrel finishes, serrations, and sights. The Premium also ships with two additional magazines.
Regardless, whichever model you select, you will surely have a concealed-carry gun to gloat about.
