Rost Martin is a relatively new entrant to the industry. Their debut pistol, the RM1C, challenged the status quo by offering an affordable, American-made pistol with many features expected in a modern polymer-frame handgun. However, Rost Martin isn’t resting on their success. For 2026, they are bringing out a full-size RM1F in both standard and tactical configurations.
SPECS
The RM1F is essentially the RM1C, but with larger proportions, including increased magazine capacity and a longer barrel. The Tactical version takes the standard full-size model and adds extended magazines, a threaded barrel, and suppressor-height sights.
The standard specs are as follows:
- Model(s): RM1F & RM1F Tactical
- Caliber: 9mm
- Capacity: 17+1
- Sights: Rear: Black serrated; Front: White dot
- Optic Cut: Yes, with plates (ships with RMR plate)
- Barrel Length: 4.5”
- Overall Length: 7.68”
- Width at Grip: 1.2”
- Height: 5.1”
- Weight: 23 oz with flush mag
- Price: $469, $519 MSRP

FEATURES
The new RM1F and RM1F Tactical build on what makes the RM1C great by adding full-size features to the fully ambidextrous controls and the brand’s signature grip texturing.
The RM1F standard model emphasizes everyday versatility, featuring a 4.5-inch hammer-forged match barrel, an optic-ready slide, and a choice of flush-fit or extended magazines. A flat-face trigger paired with a double-action striker system offers a crisp, consistent pull while maintaining reliable safety.
The RM1F Tactical enhances the feature set with 17- and 24-round magazines, a threaded barrel ready for a compensator or suppressor, and suppressor-height sights. Built on the same RM1F foundation, it’s designed for shooters who want maximum capability—whether at the range, on duty, or for personal defense.

ZOOMING OUT
I’m a big fan of the RM1C and have spent a lot of time with one. I’m excited to see the company grow and introduce new models. The RM1F Tactical is particularly appealing. Its features are perfect for today’s shooters. But the best part is the price. $469 for the standard RM1F and only $519 for the Tactical version, which is a tremendous value.
Rost Martin will be debuting these at SHOT Show.
