Safariland INCOG XS: CADRE NEWS

Cory Ross

For most, carrying a concealed weapon is their primary means of self-defense and of exercising their Second Amendment rights. It is central to your principles and beliefs. If you are like me, you have a drawer full of holsters for different guns and situations. But sometimes you come across a holster that meets all your needs while remaining compact and minimalist.

Safariland is THE holster manufacturer. If you pass a law enforcement officer or a member of the military, chances are they are wearing a Safariland holster.

But Safariland doesn’t just focus on duty; they also offer a variety of concealed-carry holsters. One of their most popular is the Incog X, developed in partnership with Travis Haley of Haley Strategic Partners. Haley is one of the biggest names in the firearms training and gear world. The dude knows his stuff. It makes sense that these two companies collaborate.

The Incog is a holster design that Travis had been floating around for some time. With Safariland’s expertise and manufacturing know-how, the two were to bring it to life. But Travis had another idea for the Incog, one that focused on minimalism, the all-new Incog XS.

FEATURES

The Incog XS was developed in collaboration between Haley Strategic Partners and Safariland. It is a purpose-driven solution for deep concealment. It offers a refined balance of concealability, adaptability, and performance for subcompact and compact carry platforms.

The holster features a streamlined profile that minimizes bulk while maintaining control and draw consistency. At the holster’s core is a versatile single-clip system built around the LinXS Attachment System, offering adjustable ride height and cant.

A Flat Clip supports strong-side carry, while an Offset Clip supports appendix carry and includes tool-free concealment shims to help reduce printing (think of it as a 2-in-1 holster).

The Incog XS also incorporates a dual-retention system, allowing users to fine-tune the balance between security and accessibility. It accommodates modern pistol configurations, including red dot sights (RDS), suppressor-height sights up to 13/32”, and muzzle devices such as threaded barrels, compensators, and suppressors, all within slide dimensions.

The holster is compatible with belts up to 1.75 inches, offering a configurable platform tailored for everyday concealed carry.

Currently, the holster is available in Glock 17/19 sizes and for Sig Sauer P365 MACRO/FUSE pistols. Users have the option of left- or right-handed models. The price is $102.50, which puts it right in line with other custom holster options on the market.

ZOOMING OUT

The Incog XS meets a specific need for those who conceal-carry a firearm. Its minimalistic design, adaptability, and dual-retention system make this a must-have. While suited for year-round use, it particularly shines when maximum concealment is most important.

Currently, the holster is available in Glock 17/19 sizes and for Sig Sauer P365 MACRO/FUSE pistols. Users have the option of left- or right-handed models. The price is $102.50, which puts it right in line with other custom holster options on the market.
