Finally, Staccato is introducing the version of the HD series we’ve all been waiting for—the P4X. We came close with the C4X introduced earlier in the year. But people have been wanting a larger frame version with a built-in compensator. And now they have it.

FEATURES
The Staccato HD P4X expands the HD lineup with a configuration built for duty use, professional deployment, and overt carry. Centered on a precision-machined 4140 DLC steel frame and full-size grip, the pistol pairs the shootability of a full-size handgun with a compact 4-inch compensated platform.
Its flush-fit DLC-compensated barrel helps reduce muzzle rise and improve recoil control, while the added weight of the steel frame enhances stability and shot-to-shot consistency. The full-size Staccato HD grip accommodates 18-round magazines, providing increased capacity without compromising handling.
Like the rest of the HD family, the P4X features several modern enhancements, including ambidextrous safety and slide-stop controls, a reversible magazine catch, Glock-pattern magazine compatibility, and an active firing-pin block (80-series trigger).
Staccato’s HD HOST optic-mounting system simplifies red dot installation, and the pistol’s design has been validated by Ballistic Research Facility testing to ensure reliability under demanding conditions. And, quite obviously, the HD P4X is chambered in 9mm.
ZOOMING OUT
The HD P4X delivers a performance-focused blend of recoil management, capacity, and durability in a package engineered for serious use. The preferred package, which includes the upgraded Trijicon sight, HD tactical magwell, and +1 magazine, is $3,799. That’s a sizeable chunk of change and a serious investment for most people. But Staccato has garnered a cult-like following, so the new HD P4X will be popular.
