The new introductions of .327 Magnum handguns like the Ruger SP101 and the .32 H&R Magnum S&W 432 revolvers has led to renewed interest in the .32 H&R Magnum. Federal Premium is now offering an inexpensive 85 grain FMJ load intended for practice under its American Eagle line.

Likewise, the growth of 10mm Auto continues unabated. For the handgun hunters amongst us, Federal has extended its Power-Shok Handgun ammunition to include the new 10mm. This short-barreled optimized load features a bonded 200 grain hollow point that with a is ideal for medium game that has a good balance between penetration and tissue damage.
Self-Defense Loads
Federal Premium is also debuting new and improved self-defense loadings for the .32 H&R Magnum, .44 Magnum, and .45 Colt cartridges. The slow moving .32 and .45 Colt cartridges are now included in the Hydra-Shok Deep line, while the .44 Magnum is finally included in the famed HST line with a reduced-penetration 230 grain hollow-point bullet.
